藍調音樂向來被稱作爵士樂的靈魂。這首超經典藍調歌曲，由漢迪（W. C. Handy）作曲，包含三個獨立的章節，每一段都有不同的旋律、曲式均衡而順暢；這首曲子充分表現出美國黑人音樂的風格、散拍爵士(Ragtime) 的風格，在梅諾爾的詮釋下，別有一番沉穩又詼諧的趣味。
